Volunteers needed

The Branch is interested in hearing from anyone who would like to join our committee. If you feel that you would like to join us we want to hear from you via email to northbeds@mndassociation.org  regardless of your experience or whether you have been affected by MND. National Office works with hundreds of volunteers, so we know everyone has something to offer.

At present we are particularly keen to hear from people regarding the following:

Association Visitor

The North Bedfordshire Branch is looking to set up a team of Association Visitors (AVs) who visit people living with MND and keep in touch by telephone and email.

We are always looking for sociable, caring people to volunteer as Visitors and join our group.

AVs play an incredibly important role, providing friendship, advice and support to people affected by MND, and offering a vital link with the Branch and other sources of support.

In return for your time, you’ll make some wonderful new friends and receive free training, which has won national recognition.

For more information on how you can become an AV please click here to go to our local Contacts page or call the Volunteer Development Co-ordinator (Suzanne Curtis, Tel: 01763 268519; mobile 07501 682092).  Alternatively, go to http://www.mndassociation.org/get_involved/volunteering/association_visitors_befriending_people_with_mnd/index.html
